  • Chronic stress is now thought to be a significant factor in most of our society’s ailments and diseases including anxiety, depression, anger mismanagement, & some cancers.
  • Harvard researchers estimate 60-90% of doctor’s visits are caused by stress.
  • Workplace stress costs U.S. employers up to $190B per (Forbes 2015).
  • Workplace stress is estimated to cause: 19% of absenteeism, 40% of turnover, 60% of workplace accidents, & 30% of short term and long term disability (Ravi Tangri, Oxford (2003).

Fitness Professionals On Demand has programs to help you meet this challenge. Multiple studies show stress reduction strategies (e.g. mindfulness, yoga, deep breathing) have a positive impact on employee health and productivity and reduces paid medical claims.

Our programs are customized to meet the needs of the individual business or school systems. They can be provided as a single workshop, a lunch & learn class, or in multiple sessions over several months.

Introduction to Stress Management

An interactive workshop which provides an in-depth look at stress geared toward empowering participants to effectively manage stress. Key areas covered are: causes of stress, the body's response to stress, practice in identifying symptoms of stress, practice in techniques to manage stress and emotional health.

Mindfulness Workshops

Mindfulness is about being present and aware.
This increases our ability to address conflict and management stress. In this workshop, participants will discuss what mindfulness is, how it can impact their lives in the work place and at home and then practice mindfulness activities in order to discover the techniques that will work best for them.


The benefits which may be achieved through yoga are multiple including improvements in strength, flexibility, balance, calmness, and relaxation (Mayo Clinic, 2015).
